Refund & Return Policy
1) Full-Priced Items — Exchange or Store Credit
At Hunter & Nomad, we want you to truly love your purchase. We quality check all items before dispatch, but if your full-priced item isn’t quite right, we’re happy to offer:
- Online Store Credit, or
- Exchange
To request a return, please notify us within 7 days of delivery (based on tracking).
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
2) Sale Items — Final Sale
Sale items and one-off pieces are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless the item is faulty.
If you purchased an item marked as faulty (e.g. a seconds sale item) and the fault was disclosed prior to purchase, the item is not eligible for refund, credit, or exchange.
Hunter & Nomad reserves the right to deny any return request that does not meet the conditions listed below.
3) Large Rugs — Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
Due to the size, weight, and handmade nature of our oversized rugs, the following sizes are not eligible for return or exchange unless the item is faulty:
- 245 x 305 cm (8’ x 10’)
- 274 x 366 cm (9’ x 12’)
Please double-check all measurements and request samples if unsure before purchasing a large rug.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- You email hello@hunterandnomad.com.au within 7 days of delivery stating the reason for return
- You provide valid proof of purchase
- You receive written return authorisation from Hunter & Nomad
- The returned item is received by us within 14 days of return approval
- Item is in its original condition (unmarked, unwashed, with all tags and packaging intact)
- Return shipping is covered by the customer
- We are not responsible for damage that occurs during return transit
Faulty Items
If your item is faulty, please contact us at hello@hunterandnomad.com.au with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the fault
Our team will assess each case and provide you with next steps.
Consumer Guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards.
This policy does not replace or limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law and is to be read in conjunction with our Terms + Conditions. It applies to all purchases made through our website
